Dealing with the structural cracks on walls

Structural structures require serious handling, and it is not uncommon to require sufficient funds to strengthen so that the building structure does not experience movement. The pulled cracks

The main cause of tensile cracks is the decrease in the soil surface. Actually, the process of decline in buildings is common, but it can be a problem if this decline occurs not simultaneously (simultaneously). These conditions result in changes in elevation in buildings that are not the same (uniform). The characteristics that can be recognized are the cracks will be wider at the top and narrower at the bottom. The contributing factors include uneven compaction, soil erosion under the foundation due to the flow of water in it, loading on the uneven walls which causes a concentrated load on one part and can also be caused by a slight earthquake vibration.

The pressure cracks

Press cracks occur because of the pressure from above (heavy loads that must be carried by the wall) and from under the wall (pressure from above the ground) that work together. The occurrence of press cracks starts because of the columns in buildings that cannot work optimally. This condition results in part of the load being borne by the wall (the load should be distributed by the ringbalk to the wall columns and forwarded by the sloof below) while from the bottom there is an upward pressure due to movement from the ground. This process causes stress cracking.

If cracks occur as a result of a decreased foundation, you can create a new foundation nearby by first detecting the worst cracks on the wall above it. The first step that can be done is to compact the soil under the new foundation then make a new column/pole to help distribute the load from the sloof and the floor beam above.
